As for the movie...

Everything that movie explains is blatantly obvious to anyone who is concerned enough in the world around them. Too bad most people couldn't be bothered enough to even read a book let alone think about world affairs. If this movie teaches you anything it should be BUY GOLD NOW!! That way you have something of worth instead of IOU's to the bankers

Zeitgeist has been debunked so many times I don't know why people still bother with it. The whole first section from screen one is untrue. All the supposed connections between Krishna, Horus, Buddha and Jesus don't exist. It was all made up by a writer called Murdoch (sells herself as Archarya S), based on old Theosophical ideas that were debunked 100 years ago. It's anti-semitic, right wing BS. There was a thread on Grass City a few months ago where a guy was offering somehting like $1,000 dollars for any provable connection between them out of the couple of hundred there are meant to be. Not one person found anything.

I've looked myself (greed is a terrible thing for these connections, because I really did want to believe it was true. It took me about an hour on google to discover it was crap. Horus was never baptised, Anu the Baptiser is fictional, Horus wasn't crucified, etc, etc. If the film makers are meant to be bringing us the truth for our own good, then why did they not bother to check up on their facts before even making the film? Simple, because it's meant to sell DVDs and books that promote the same ideas. They don't care about the future and our survival, just money, even if it means telling lies to get it.

Even Murdoch herself has distanced herself fromthe film and said that although allthe first section is based on her work, she doesn't agree with the conclusions that the second two parts of the film makes. The second parts of the film are supposition based on part one being factual. It isn't, so the film isn't.

Now that is something I can agree with. Buying gold is never a bad buy. It's the best protection against inflation.

Even thou I am way too high to comment I would say that the only way to find the truth behind the movie is to organize a group of people that will research every fact mentioned. That's the only way to know for sure if the movie is full of shit or if there is really something behind it. I am an atheist so I didn't give a fuck about what they have to say about religion. The thing that interested me the most was about the federal reserve. I looked up some stuff and found that what they said about it being private is real. So now I just think to myself "what the fuck are Americans waiting to raise up against it and give the power of currency back to the government". This is fucking ridiculuous. America is borrowing money from a group of people. Well I guess after seeing Americans reelect George Bush as their president, something retarded like that could be expected. (No disrespect, I know not everyone voted for Bush or knew about this shit)

I seee this as just another chapter in a series of events starting loosely with Farenheit 9/11, followed by "Loose Change" and ending, for now, with Zietgeist. What can I say? I'm not a big fan of propaganda films like this. I can't stand the way people think they've somehow been "enlightened" by a bunch of distorted facts and clever editing. Every one of the films mentioned has been debunked and shown to contain many "facts" that are far from accurate. I call these films propaganda for a reason...they have all been released in order to further the author's ideas. No, they aren't made to provide accurate info....they are made in order to change minds, and to further the ideas of a select group of individuals. Frankly, they all contain so much distorted info as to be rendered completely useless by those looking for the "facts". The truth IS out there, but trying to find it through a shortcut like "Loose Change" or the "Zeitgeist" isn't the way to find it

People don't like the fact that things can go so wrong so easily. People don't like to think that it only took one crazy man to kill Kennedy. People don't like to think that all it took was a few crazy terrorists to take down the World Trade Center buildings. They need some profound reason, everything needs to make sense. Well, everything doesn't make sense, everything doesn't work that way. Instead of just simply putting it off as "We fucked up in the security department" it's easier to think there was a grand scheme behind it all, even if it involves our very own government.

The movie is freely available and without copyright. It's distribution is recommended, as stated at the end of the film. The directors are not making much if any money off of it.

I have not yet formulated an opinion on it. I have heard the majority of the theories it proposed, some of which carry more truth than others. I'd like to research more for myself.

The most interesting proposition the film made was about the coming of the age of Aquarius, and I'm surprised it did not go into further detail regarding the coming of Christ again in and around the year 2150. If the age of the Pisces really is the age of Jesus, then the coming of a new age will bring another savior. My kids will see him, although I will probably never know for sure.

I don´t know why is so hard for people to conceive the fact that their government could conspire against them for financial purposes. I mean the Rockefellers had the largest steel monopoly in the history of the world not to mention the oil too only two generations away. So why is it so hard to accept that they need wars to get their money and that they can buy politicians to help them get it. Everyone knows it takes money to make money and it takes steel to build weapons and everything in war as well as oil for transportation. So, I think that´s something to talk about.
