We're watching this shit in my english class, and its some wild ass shit. Believe it or not, some if it is heresay, some if it is just propaganda, but who knows maybe SOME of it is true.. What really scared me was, Bush apparently signed some paper to unite Canada, Amerca, and Mexico, making it the North American Union, unannounced to the public. Changing the American Dollar, to the "Amero".

It says, the North American Union is the same concept as the European Union, African Union, and the soon to be Asian Union. And when "the time is right" all these Unions will unite, and there will be "ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT". Watch the videos there pretty interesting..

But the scary part is, when they promote this RFID chip. It has your personal information, your banking, money, and such, and it also has a tracking device. They plan to have EVERYONE get one of these, so they kno WHERE we are, WHAT we are doing, at all times. and not by FORCE, but to "scare" us into getting it... it already exists, and some people already have it....


That has the part about the unions and stuff, u shud watch the ones on the World Trade Center.

Idk i dont want a debate or anything, i mean sure debate amongst urselves if u wish, i just want feedback like damn what do u guys think, do u really think their trying to take away our rights? They already can arrest us and torture us and whatever if they have any reason to "think we are a terrorist"? Its like America staging 9/11 for us to fight "terrorists" when Hitler burned down his own mansion, blaming the "communists".

You do realize that the reason the US dollar has any weight or value because the people of the US (and now the people of the world) believe it has value.
We are not on a gold standard any longer, meaning there is not hard currency backing our dollar.

So yeah, when you get down to it, our dollar has no value other than our belief & understanding that when we take a dollar or five or ten or twenty or fifty or hundred (or higher denomination) into a store, you will be able to exchange it for equivilant goods or services. It also means that foreign business or governments can take those same US dollars and buy food for their people or oil or weapons or whatever commodities they need.

Large corporations and government try to sell what they produce for the most dollars they can, then use those dollars to invest in their countries or coporations. It's called GROWTH and EXPANSION.

Yes, money makes the world go 'round, like it or not. Even unbacked, "worthless" money.
Hell, if your money is so worthless, then give it all to me. I believe it has some definite worth... It's worth enough to pay my bills, buy gas to go to work (to earn even more "worthless" money!), buy a burger for lunch or buy Christmas gifts for my daughter.

I challenge you to live in today's economy and not use money. Barter for everything. Trade your possessions for necessary survival components (food, shelter, clothing). Trade your services and skills for material goods.
Do that for a few months and then report back on how "worthless" those dollars are.

Yes, one day there will be a unified world government. One day, the nations of the world will realize that our short-sighted territorialism on this planet is futile and that we need to work together as a planet for the betterment of that planet. Rather than fight amongst ourselves over some chunk of land, we will come to a point where there is a common enemey, likely from a world beyond our solar system and/or galaxy.
And yes, when there is a unified Earth government, US dollars will be worthless to anyone except collectors. So will Schillings, Pisos, Denaros, Euros, Lira, Pounds, Marks, Rubles, Rupees or any other national currency. Welcome to the modern world...

I saw this movie recently. Much of the footage is edited from several documentaries that I have seen over the past few years, and they even added in some Bill Hicks (always cool). The historical information was facinating. I find it very difficult to believe that a sky scraper fell so uniformly at free fall speed completely disintegrating the interior frame without some sort of controlled demolition involved.

I think it raises some good issues that can and should be discussed in this country.
Following the money is a good place to start.

Hello everyone. I just saw the movie Zeitgeist which you can view for free over the internet, and it was very disturbing. After seeing the movie I don't know what to think. It seems like some wacky conspiracy theory, but it also seems to make sense to me. I have very conflicting feelings about it. So I would just like to know what you think about this movie. Because if some of the things that are claimed in the movie (part 2 and 3 especially) are true than shouldn't that be the cause of massive outrage which I haven't seen at all in the general public. This could only mean one of two things; this movie isn't based on actual facts, or people are just plain stupid and are only too happy to be manipulated.

I saw it a few months ago so here is my review:

FUCKING LOVED IT.

I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist and it touched on a lot of the things I question about the government, among other things. I'm not exactly a book of knowledge on Christianity or any religion for that matter, but I thought part 1 was really interesting and cool. It'd be neat if everyone would watch it, no matter what you end up taking it for.

It bored me, I couldn't watch the whole thing at once. I had to watch a few minutes at a time for a day or so. It was the same old conspiracy theory b.s. mixed with a some facts presented in a way that "seems right" but is really just them shining a light on it in a way they like.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everything they say is b.s., just a bit of it.

Philosophy

i seen it like twice now, matter of fact i just gave my teacher the website to see it, but any way the way they explain things in the movie make sense, the government puts a lot of money towards technology, and people are steadly getting more and more into it, look at people today. Im in high skool and in every class i see at least 6 people texting saying that people are getting sucked in to wat the gov't is trying to do to us, nd thats controlling use through a whole world totalitarian gov't with the help of technology...But we cant even do anything about this but educate are selves and other about the whole situation

How about the last part about the plan to put chips into every humans body? That was the part that really bugged me. It seems possible to me. Plus what would the people that made the movie gain from lying to people? I don't know what to think really. Like I have heard about the 9/11 conspiracy before, but I never believed a word of it. To me it just seemed impossible that the government would kill thousands of people ( I would actually get mad when I heard something so stupid), but after watching this movie, that conspiracy seems more believable. For example I never understood how the buildings would just collapse on itself when an aeroplane crashed in the top part of it. But I never questioned the official story because who am I? I'm not an engineer or anything. But in the video people that are expert are saying exactly that! Plus think about this, why does it seem so impossible that the government kill thousands of people? They drop bombs on innocent civilians, and thousands of Americans and people of other nationalities have died in Iraq. Not only this but Bush does not seem to care about this at all, he takes a record amount of vacations for a president even as the body count rises. I mean if I ran over a squirrel I would lose more sleep than this guy, he just seems to not care that people are dying every day because of his choices. Not only Bush is guilty of this but leaders around the world, and throughout history it is the rule not an exception. So after thinking of all this I am not saying I think that the 9/11 conspiracy theory is true or any other claims made by the movie, but that they are not that far fetched.
