A shit load of people are on You Tube, and best of all you can post a video for free. Sounds like a good way to get your opinion out there to massive amounts of people

While I think it sucks that You Tube isn't allowing these opinions (but seriously.. what's the source? The person could have been being extremely offensive and just being a jerk in the video..). Did You Tube take it down just because it discussed atheism, or was it because the guy/gal was bashing religion? Two seperate things. You Tube doesn't allow offensive material anyway.. and since whether or not something is offensive is mostly subjective I could see this happening easily with the topic of religion.

Like others have said, it's their site and they can do whatever they want with it.. but you, me, and everyone else is more than welcome to find another video site if you're offended by their practices. You Tube has to control the content they have on their website.. just like this one does. It's the way it goes.

Most people over the age of 5 can write a book, but it costs a lot of money to have a book published. Anyone who is even mildly computer literate can upload a video on You Tube (okay, I never have done this, but I assume it's not hard considering some of the idiots that have videos on there). The great thing about You Tube is you get a variety of opinions from different people, but this is also a downfall in many ways.

See, now this would be a much larger discussion if YouTube was censoring, say, muslims, catholics, buddhists, hell, any religion for that matter.

Personally, I'm not an atheist, I'm an agnostic (please, religious zealots, don't flame me for saying this, because if you knew what agnostic means, you would realize it's not a bad idea for those in question of "afterlife"), and I personally feel this is a violation of one's right to speak, post, and video broadcast whatever they feel. So you can stream somebody falling off a second story building and busting his skull open, but you can't post a video about your religious beleifs?

Pardon my language, but that's good ol' corporate bullshit.
