Sorry to disappoint.

One marine killed a puppy. In all fairness, much worse things go on every day than that. Everywhere. There are plenty of Vet's that make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year who kill more puppies that.

Child Rapists? Wow, talk about slander and Straw men (that's another form of Logical fallacy, by the way).


For someone who seems to have such a hatred for the American people ("it's the american way"), it's strange you would choose a handle based on a comic book character made by two Americans.

Never have I said I hate americans, never have I said all american soldiers are child rapists or puppy killers.. so please do me a favor and stop generalizing everything I say. You seem like an intelligent guy so why can't you grasp that? Stop putting words in my mouth. Yeah one-marine killed a puppy, think how much goes unreported. There were those reports of the soldiers raping little girls that they would find. Every now and then there are reports of twisted soldier incidents and they typically tend to be US related. That's a fact, ok? It is impossible for you to disagree with that statement.

I disagree, read what tricosp or whatever is saying. He's making me look like an american hater. Which I'm not. And that sentence "keep praising your..." well that's what I see from these past few posts. They're saying to respect the soldiers simply because they're in the military. Some of them don't deserve respect, and that's what I was getting across with that statement. But nooooooo, some people can't grasp that so now I'm the guy who hates every single american alive.

If you don't want your slanderous insults interpreted in general ways, you either shouldn't use them or should be more specific with them.

I've not been putting words in your mouth. I've simply interpreted them.

Many units have Reporters or Civilians with them (I believe that all US Military units have at least a few civilians accompanying them), and the vast majority of soldiers have a sense of right and wrong. I'd say that there aren't many instances of gross misconduct that go unreported.

The typically tend to be US related? I guess it's possible, although I doubt that many studies have been broached into the subject.

I quite disagree. There could be a number of factors that contribute.

1) There are more reports accompanying the US troops than any other military in the world.
2) The US has more troops deployed out of country than any other Country in the world (I believe)


There are also quite a few "militaries" in Africa that you read about (daily) that rape, pillage and dismember people.

With all due respect I haven't interpreted anything Green-Lantern has said as disrespectful, to anyone here or otherwise. Again, he has a right to his opinion whether any of us agree with it or not.

I don't find his statements erroneous. Controversial maybe but not entirely untrue. Frankly, I think you both are correct in your assumptions.

And Trocisp, what exactly did G-L say to incur an infraction?

No doubt it would be instructive to get our hands on the 'psych tests' of the two individuals in the video...

You did that yourself. All I did was bring it to the attention of everyone here.

Your posting habits tend to counter your statement. Although I'm willing to give you another chance. I have absolutely nothing against you, even though you've posted extremely inflammatory remarks towards a military who has (more than once) defended not just the American way of life but the Western way of life in general.

The whole western world owes a debt of gratitude to the US Army in the same way they do the RAF and Spartans of Thermopylae.

We're not praising this person, we're just pointing out that there are worst things that have happened and this constitutes Animal cruelty, not mass murder or genocide.

The act of joining the military itself is a respectable thing.

You're willingly putting yourself in harms way to protect a set of ideals. That's a respectable thing.

That's not what you said. You said that the American way was to Worship puppy killers and child rapists. That's an extremely inflammatory remark.

I'm going to completely ignore this last statement because it's, well, somewhat redundant.
