I watched this video a few times, and i think the dog might have already been dead when it was thrown off. The yelp sound really fake and the dog never moves once. I figured it would squirm from the way it was being held, but no nothing.

Next time you want to post something that has this much potential to piss off so many people, you might want to take the time to write a few more words.

How do we know what your intention is without you saying so. You do say it is disturbing, but that could also just be a standard warning to those who have weak stomachs.

I'm not angry at you for posting, just next time, try to put a bit more of your opinion in the post.

Regarding the video; One would think that the U.S. Marines would be trying everything in their power to promote goodwill and reassurance to the rest of the world that Americans are NOT monsters. The Marines in this video appear to be doing the very opposite.

It isn't merely disturbing, it is totally disgusting.

I'll have to agree with ADIDAS on this one. It's big news now so obviously there's a reason to post it. The title of the thread is "U.S. Marine throws puppy off cliff" so if you're not up for seeing something like that I'd suggest....not watching it?

It's not like glorious tricked anyone into watching it and I don't think he posted it to be michievious or anything.

I`m surprised this is still up. This is a graphic video showing animal cruelty. Just because YouTube`s hosting it and it`s all over the net doesn`t make it any less a violation of the rules, right?

I disagree and think that is too close to "Bush" thinking. Don't let them take pictures of the caskets, don't let them see anything negative...Support the troops, blanket statement...

This has been shown in the news. Network and cable. Yes, it's disturbing. It should be. Probably not as disturbing as what is being done to humans in the same region, though.
We can either turn a blind eye to the bad and think all rainbows and sunshine, or we can confront head on the sad reality that includes these types of folks representing us as well as the folks that do good works. How are we as a country going to function in the world if we stick our heads in the sand concerning our image to others based on our behavior, all of our behavior and refuse to recognize reality (or not even be aware of it)?

Here are some more examples of some of our troops winning "hearts and minds"...Don't watch it if easily offended:
An article wouldn't have the same "I was there" type feel to it as seeing it with our own eyes though, right?

I personally don't see a violation of the rules here, but that's just my opinion.

I didnt even watch the video, I dont have an desire to see something like that so...

but I think peopple here ned to ease up on the USMC hate in here. Yeah, the guy/guys involved in making this video are some sick individuals, no doubt there. But you can't pass of the blame onto the USMC or generalize that everyone in there's a sicko. for all we know maybe that guy smokes bud, should we point fingers at that aspect of his life for this shit? Individuals are the ones responsible for their behaviour, not any groups that they might happen to be in.

That being said I wish I could throw that guy off a cliff, regardless of whether the dog's dead or not or whatever, hes still a sick, messed up person.
