Its definitely real, and the Marine in question is under investigation. If you haven't already, I suggest not watching the vvideo. I'm not some crazed PETA person, but I'd bitchslap this guy given 1/2 a chance. Marine or not, traumatized by battle or just mean....theres no excuse for this behavior, and would rather see someone toss HIM off a cliff rather than the puppy. Life is a gift, and this guy isn't deserving of it. If there are any operations in Iraq that demand a "sacrifical lamb" so to speak, I readily volunteer this guy for the job! I'd willingly sacrifice someone like that for the greater good!

a lot of people think this is fake.. i definitely think its real.. i dont think there is anything wrong with posting it on the forum.. the title says it all.. "us marine throws puppy off cliff".. what were ya expecting? i think its just more proof we have a lot of fucked up ppl serving our country.

What the hell? Why is everyone disgusted with glorious posting this? I was gonna do it myself. Its big news, why wouldnt we discuss it? Wether it be slandering the marines name, or discussing the legitimacy of it.

TM, who did you talk to to confirm that this video is 100% real? Must have some close ties with the Marines?

In my opinion, I think the dog is dead already. I see no movement from it, breathing, blinking. Also, he is holding the puppy by its neck the whole time, but doesnt yelp until it is thrown. Kinda sketchy to me. And that yelp, golly g, sounds like a radio station recording. Im not saying it cant be real, just that I dont think it is.

WOW I HATE THIS VIDEO AS MUCH AS EVERYONE ELSE!!!! I am offended that you think I would post this video to piss people off. It was obviously not my intention (I wrote in my post "It's pretty disturbing if it is" meaning I find this video very traumatizing as well. How did I post this to harass people or tick people off? This is a video that has millions of hits online. IT WAS EVEN ON THE FRONT PAGE OF SOME NEWS SOURCES ONLINE. I thought since it was a very controversial, talked-about video it was worthy of a post. And what does anything have to do with me not being able to tell if it is fake or not? I'm a little lost there?

ONCE AGAIN, TO EVERYONE WHO THINKS I WOULD POST THIS BECAUSE I ENJOY THIS, YOU ARE WRONG. I am actually a dog-lover, so before you jump all over me, maybe you should' ve asked my intention of posting this. You posted that rule, Sec, but I do not see how I broke any guidelines.

At this time I'd like to apologize if I offended anyone and please realize this video disturbs me just as much. A video like this that has spread online is controversial, and maybe I should've wrote "warning" or "controversial" in the title. For that, I am also sorry. But I just want to reiterate one more time, that the purpose of my post was not to hurt or offend anyone.
