I had 3 of those little glass screens that I purchased at the headshop when I picked up my new mini-bubbler. I've already lost one of them and the other two will not properly fit any of my pieces so I've stopped using them. I like the plain old metal screens better any day.

I think she's talking about making resin oil by burning off the alchohol after she soaked it. I've never tried this but I've heard of people doing it.

i'm a he and yes

"First, burning alcohol has almost no scent whatsoever."
it reeks of the resin, just like baking pot brownies makes your kitchen smell nice

"Second, when cleaning glassware with rubbing alcohol, you're not supposed to burn it. You soak the lass in the alcohol and allow it to act as a solvent. If you need an abrasive to scrape off the caked-on chunks, ass some salt and swirl it around."

my friend cleans my pipe to collect the resin so burning it keeps the remains
do you people normally throw that stuff away? that's the case when it comes to my bong but with my pipe it really collects
i don't really do this often, or at least clean my pipe as often as i should
when i move i'll be able to keep tidy more frequently without worrying about resin stains on the sink that i need bleach to clean off

Hell yeah i throw that shit away. Resin is awful. It has always given me the worst headache after i come down from my high. Mad awful shit. I refuse to smoke it. That shit either goes in my garbage or down the drain. Never into my lungs

"resin" is mostly tars and bezine, with ashes and burnt crumbs mixed in. It's garbage and only gets you high through oxygen deprivation. THC is gone before you actually combust tha plant matter, so any "resin" accumulating on your pipe doesn't have any THC in it. Use a solvent to remove it from your piece and throw it away.

I use tha jacks...glass flowers seem to get clogged too easily (when you take into consideration that I only clean my glass after I run out of herb and before I get any more). Don't have much of a problem losing them because I think about 'em when I'm tapping out my cashed bowl, plus when you get that first bowl or two done, there is some grippage for tha jack to hold on to. Sometimes I'll grip 'em with a pair of tweezers or Hemostats and burn all tha gunk off before I load a new bowl.
