one day i was having trouble taking out the glass downpipe because of that rubber thing, and eventually when i added enough pressure the bong glass around the hole broke into two pieces a bit larger than a quarter. I am pissed off because this is my first bong and i spent like $80 on it, so if anyone knows how i can fix it/how much its going to cost, please let me know!

Best i can tell you is get creative and try to find something to make it work. Wouldnt be pretty at all, but i imagine you could fix it with some random stuff laying around the house.

Anyway, about your bong, I'd say go with the post above me; just somehow make-shift a working piece, all you can really do... if just one solid part broke of you could maybe glue it, but it looks like some things shattered?

lol thnx and its pretty much broken into just 2 pieces i was thinking of glueing it but will that still be air-tight and hold up?

If you use crazy glue, and do it neatly, the bong could look almost as if there was no cracks at all. Only faint ones, like if you were to look closely at it. Im not so sure how strong it would be, but it would definately be airtight, and if done neatly, could look alright.

I would attempt to fix it, but I would prepare to buy a new one though, in case it doesnt work, or look as good as you want it to.

aight do u think i should go to a smoke shop and see how they can fix it or just attempt it myself, and if its going to look like a pos i might as well buy a new one evn tho i paid like 80 for that

you could possibly stack a series of washers on that to make the right sized hole. Would look ghetto as fuck but just might work in your situation. The break looks pretty clean, so just super gluing it back together might work. Any holes after that could possibly be fixed with silicone. That would all be just a temporary solution though. A new bong is definately needed.

I'd also like to point out that for $80, I think you got ripped off.

ok i had my bro look at it and he said its going to be really hard to especially because its where u put the glass downtube in...

ive decided to save some money and not give a shit what it looks like, but is there anyway i could permanatly fix this with like a dried-clay mold or something?

it was about 60-70 now that i recall and it has a nice case that came with it

Sand the edges to try and get them smooth( or better yet get a dremel) The hole looks to be almost a perfect circle, so you could get a big piece of cork and plug the hole. Then run your down stem through the cork. This way you can use a glass on glass down stem and your bong will be kind of gong. Good luck...
