I miss seeing Jerome's around. I just remember going to the head shops in So Cal and seeing some beutifull work, from the small 1 footers to the Motherships, their eye pleasing work, beutifull chillums and bowls.
I wonder what they would look like with glass on glass.
Closest thing i have is a 2 1/2 ft. from ARTS. Art is one of the old blowers from Jerome Baker Designs.
Anyone have any old pics of some JBD glass?

I have 3 Jerome Bakers and have had no need for another piece, are you telling me they are gone...........no more...............like if they break I'm screwed...............I have done no homework since I owned these, my friends got them for me when I turned 18, no pics, dont want any incriminating evidence but I hope this does not jinx me.........Dude this really put a bummer on my day they are the nicest quality pieces I have owned and that's why I take good care of them, this sucks I just put a post up like 5 minutes ago bragging about them

they been closed since 2003 i believe. i forget how many other big glass companies also went down with them, it was called operation pipe dream or something like that. if you have an authentic piece of glass treasure it!

I have 3 with signatures got them in 2000, just started to search the net and looks like they are gone gone gone, damn I think I should by new pieces just to preserve these. Wish I payed more attention, also noticing the new stuff does not seem the same but also noticing some crazy stuff I never even thought of, what a shitty thing

There are some JBD pieces for sale at a local glass shop in the Portland area.

They are about 20", strait tubed, numbered and limited to 500(not 100% sure). They have grafitti up the tubes. They cost $400. From what I know they were from the last series he made.

I wish they were in my price range. I wanted one sooo much, but couldn't shell out 4 bills for one.

The pieces you are referring to are JBD/RIP designs. They still make these. They are (allegedly) Jerome Baker designed, but not actually blown or made by him. Like he drew the artwork. While exceptionally thick glass, they are nowhere near as "out there" looking as his previous work. They certainly aren't of limited quantity. My shop just ordered 17 cases of the new designs.

i'm just gona stick to Arts bongs, it is jbd just not branded. and yea jerome is stayin low pro, he's still active in his ways as Creative has stated. my brother just got a limited JBD skateboard signed by Jerome that Art got for him to go with his ridiculouse $1000 4ft custom mothership, also has a original JBD glass wart. Art is Jeromes cousin so you would think he has a couple of goodies up his sleeve
