|  what does adding alcohol to the bong water do my friend thinks it gets you higher but i think the density of the alcohol would not allow as much smoke through |

| The alchohol will absorb THC molecules, THC being the active ingredient in weed, which of course gets you high (but you already knew that, didnt you?  ).Also, the smoke will taste terrible and be very harsh, because the alchohol will give off fumes, that I would not reccomend you inhale... | |

| Its a stupid idea. Not only does it filter out THC to some degree, but it also, depending on the purity of alcohol used, is highly flammable. Unless ytou want your bong turned into an improvised molotov coktail, I'd strongly suggest avoiding using high proof alcohol in a bong or anywhere else it might be exposaed to flame

| I wouldnt recommend smoking anything through alcohol, i wouldnt want to be sucking hot embers into anything flammable. I dont want a lung full of fire. |

| It most likely doesn't get you "higher"... however, it may give you more of a buzz due to the fumes. If that is what you're after, then adding gasoline to the water may kick it up a notch. /sarcasm |

| When I've used alcohol instead of bong water, I get just as high. No less, no more. And it gives my hits a nice flavor but a lot of times that is the weed as well. I really haven't noticed any less of a high because the alcohol was 'snatching' some THC. And if that is the case, it doesn't 'snatch' much.
