I'm debating on which bong to buy next. My old one was sadly broken. I've been seeing percolating bongs and double percolating bongs, and I have no idea what that means or what it actually does. While explaining that if you could also explain what a diffused downstem is and how that all works. Thanks.

everyones all into to though i guess, just looks like it takes a long time to clear it.
the percolator was shown right there very well in video.

a diffuser is basicly a downstem closed at the end with holes all around the end where the smoke goes through, good luck on your decision.

The percolator is basically another "water filter" for your smoke to go through before it goes into your lungs.

The drawback from having a percolator or perc, is the fact that you have to pull a bit harder to draw smoke into the bong and into your lungs.

I like the look of bongs with out percs myself, and they are a lot easier to clean, but if you have to time to clean it, and money to spend, I would say try it out.

Youll be happy with any bong you buy, perc or no perc!

If you get more than 1 perc look at the design and think about maintnance might be a bitch to clean

Yup, anything with more than 1 percolator is a bit tricky to clean. Luckily, I discovered acetone.

Everyone pretty much explained it pretty well but...

This is my toy, you can see the 4 percolators in action and it gives you an idea of what it does.

That had to be a bitch to even fill those percs properly spiral - sweet piece even got the ice catcher over the 4th perc. Bet that set you back a few $$$$ - but at least you smoke killer bud out of it

Technically it was 'free' .... and no, its really easy to fill it up. You just pour some water in the top, keep pouring and it 'flows' to the bottom perc. It 'evens' itself automatically.
