| I've searched the forum and haven't seen any posts relating to this so I thought I'd give this question a shot. I ordered a 6 chamber bubbler and of course it has a couple of cracks in it and I've smoked out of it so no possible way of return. Both of them are in the bottom of the chambers. They haven't gone through the glass all the way, kinda seems like the crack is inside the glass, and never made it through. Is there a way to reinforce these cracks? What is the life span on a piece that has these defects? I'm obviously going to be extra careful with it, but any suggestions on keeping this thing alive forever unless it gets dropped? Thanks. |

| I've seen bongs (friends ones) with cracks like that in it, that I think were user-made. But they smoked fine for a good long while, never even hinted at messing up, cracks never got any bigger. |

| Yes, buy some good epoxy clear resin and follow the instructions for glass...

| Hey, thanks for the replies. As you can imagine I was pretty upset when I found these imperfections. I will keep an eye on them and if I do start to see any sort of spread whatsoever I will get that epoxy stuff. I will welcome any other suggestions too. Thanks again! |

| You got pics of it so we can see what needs to be fixed?

| I tried taking pictures of it but I can't get any that show the cracks. They either come out blurry or you just can't see them in the picture. As described above, they are on the bottom of the chambers and they haven't gone through the glass. I can't feel it when I rub my finger over it. So it is definitely inside the glass. |

| Yea it sounds like it is inside the piece. You may never have to repair this (I cant see so cant tell for sure). My recomendation is to leave it as is, now should the crack work it's way through in cold weather or from being bumped or somthing you're gonna want to repair it (obviously). In most of these cases I have had success repairing the bong by using a windshield repair kit I got on ebay for like $11 - I think it's called Windshield pro glass, you can just put glass repair kit in the search title, it will bond to the glass not fill it like epoxy making for a more efficient repair, hope it was some help and good luck |
