thinking about buying the mad scientist bong does any one have any reviews on this? pros/cons?

Are you perhaps talking about the one made by PURE Glass? If so, that's a big yes. I bought the mad scientist about a week ago and it does wonders. If it is the same one, then it has three separate percolation chambers and an ice catcher as well. It is so smooth that you don't even feel like you are taking a hit until you blow out and see all the smoke.

It would help if you told us who makes the 'mad scientist', there are a few companies that make a 'mad scientist' bong it seems.... If the one your talking about is PURE or Molino, I'd say it's a safe bet. If its one of the other ones I'd be hesitant to buy it.

yes i am talking about the molino mad scientist sorry guys but you think this is a safe bet and does it come with 3 chambers or is it just down stem into bubble into percolator

or is it ash catcher to bubble to percolator?

It sure gets my approval! If your willing to dish out the dough, I'd go for it.

Looks like 2 chambers; the main chamber and the percolator. An ash catcher is most likely something you'd have to purchase separately but they are easy enough to find.

ok because all of the videos i have found on it it had a third ash catcher chamber but ive never seen a review people just say it is small but great for its compact size

never heard any of the pro's and con's of it that is why i made this post any one with experience to please enlighten me

An ash catcher is really only meant to keep the rest of your piece clean. The ash catcher grabs the ash and only sends smoke on down the bong so that you only have to clean the ash catcher instead of the entire bong/downstem system. Granted, it is another chamber to filter and clean your smoke but with percolaters you won't need more filtration. With a clear bong like this you're going to want to get an ashcather, it will eliminate a serious amount of cleaning.

This is a hell of a nice bong and it would be a shame to buy it and let it get all filthy, when you get it measure the width of the downstem and go buy yourself a clear ash catcher.
