That aint happened to me yet - Thank god, I think I would be pissed if I went to use it and shit was growing in it, I would have to give is a major cleaning before I used it again, or I just might get rid of it if it were real nasty. I am just to lazy to do it ag\fter I smoke and I am anxious when I am about to smoke I know I should take care of it but in my cheap pieces I just say fuck it and I have had water in there for like 3 months sometimes because I just don't use them all that often and forget about them.

After every sesh, bong water is dumped. I mean, its not even being lazy to not dump it, its just plain gross.

Im not sure if I would smoke out of heavily used, couple day old bong water...

It's nasty and it stinks but as Kat Williams said weed has that chemical called "FUCK IT", and thats what kinda happens to me since I never grab the bong first

myself i like to clean the bong every couple of days, since my use is about 3-8 times a day lol. but i've had friends who kept their water in their bong for extended periods of time, in fact! i got a story for you guys. A good buddy of mine had this 4 foot beast that was put away for some time when my bong was purchased, about 6 months later we were going to have a session and decided to pull his out. mind you we were already buzzed and didn't pay much attention. After my cousin started ripping one i glanced as he was filling up the chamber and to my dismay so what looked like a nasty drippy loogy at the bottom floating around in the water, i couldn't help myself but to scream stop and that bong ended up sitting in a corner for about 4 days with rubbing alcohol and lotsa salt. It was the most disgusting thing i had ever seen.

So in conclusion i would definately clean it often. at least once a week would be my pick but everyone has their own choice. I find that clean water on a clean bong hits alot smoother, but that's just my experience.

Yeah I personally like to have my shit smelling and tasting clean : ) Plus the longer it sits there the harder it is to clean/get the smell out. I personally clean my pieces after every single use...or session rather. Plus I live in a dorm room so it's kind of a priority to keep stuff smelling clean : D

I dump and rinse my bong every few days. I've seen some pretty nasty shit inside of bongs left with water in them for months. Yuck!
