Just got this baby out of town, originally came from a recent glass expo in Vegas.


This is the bong fully assembled. The sticker says "CARBONITE." That black disk in the middle of the shaft? That's a carbonite rock. Generally anything that filters, from water treatment plants to the HEPA air purifier in your home to the air filter in your car, has a high carbon content. This rock is essentially a smoke purifier, removing harmful contaminants from the bud and letting THC continue it's journey.


This is the bong with the 3-piece glass-on-glass stem disassembled. The long stem on the left, instead of having one large hole at the bottom, has several smaller holes, to make the smoke bubbles smaller and better filtered by the water. The middle piece is another filter -- there's a small carbonite filter in it. It catches a lot of resin and bud, like a kief collector in a grinder. Then there is the bowl which is nothing special.

This bong is the most badass piece of material ever. It's a beautiful example of function over form. Two buds of mine brought an embarrassingly rolled joint over, and after they saw the new bong, we broke it down and smoked it, two hits a piece. They said they got way more blazed then they would have just smoking that joint. I don't know for myself, I have had people bringing me weed to put in it all day.

This bong is excellent for people who have trouble smoking bongs. I consider myself a champion bong hitter, and have on several occassions tried really hard to hurt myself. I have coughed, yes, but it's nowhere near as rough or last as long as your basic glass/plastic bong.

Very nice. I haven't seen a bong with a carbon filter in the main chamber, it sure is a unique find... is it removable/replaceable?

I'm also a bit confused about the ice catcher, or what appears to be one (that large notch on the bottom, below the carbon filter) -- was that a mistake that it's below the carbon filter? or do you put ice in below the filter?

But really nice piece, I just now started hearing about these carbon filtered bongs, so I'm guessing they are fairly new. Got a name yet?

This bong actually can't hold ice at all. A sticker on it says to keep the rock as dry as possible. Those dimples are likely just there to keep the filter held in place. A similar design is around the filter in the stem also.

The PS3 box is just to keep the picture from showing everything underneath my bed. And that's the box I transport it in.

No name yet, and it doesn't look like I'm going to get a chance to. Lost my job yesterday because they wanted a random drug test, so I just clocked out and left. I'm probably going to end up selling this for about 150 (bought it for 230) so I won't lose my truck until I get another job.

I got it at some goofy sounding head shop in Dallas... like H.R. Puff & Stuff or something similar to that. I went there just after this big glass convention in Vegas (I know about it because the guy who does the auto glass at my old job went to the same convention) and they had brought 3 of these Carbonite bongs back along with a few assorted art pieces ranging from 1,500$ to 4,500$.

I definitely suggest suggest this bong to any serious smoker. Not only can the health benefits be irreplaceable, but people will seriously throw weed at this motherfucker just to see how it smokes. I'v been dry ever since I got this thing (it was pretty pricey... 200+) but constantly high because other people coming over and wanting to try it out.
