I bought my first bubbler a month ago, and I've been loving it. lately I've noticed that it's been giving me disgusting hits, I mean really disgusting. I've almost vomited from these hits guys. I knew what was going on wasn't normal. I figured that maybe it was just time to clean it, so I soaked in soapy water for about 10 mins and then let it dry. tried it again and my friend almost died (as funny as it was, the hit was really nasty). am I not cleaning this bubbler right? is that why this hits are so terrible? what is the right way to clean it? BTW I can't do the dishwasher thing cuz of the folks. Please help me out guys so i can actually enjoy smoking once again!!!! thanks.

Put it in a large ziplock with ISO alcohol.(you can find this anywhere) Give that bitch a shake and let it soak. You can also scape it while it's wet.

I use orange cronic to clean all my pipes, it's great for glass. Buy a bottle, it's like 8 bucks and will make your stuff look brand new and shiny! Also, no aftertaste.

The Ziploc method sounds interesting.

Got a new double blown bowl and there's a part of it that won't clean during a soak. Looks like "ring around the collar"

It doesn't affect the smoke, but it looks ugly as shit.

Yah man, most likely you've just got buckets and buckets of (in my humble opinion, disgusting) resin. there are a few ways to clean it, but the best way (also in my humble opinion) is to get the highest percent rubbing alcohol possible. Soak it in the rubbing alcohol (you can even shake it around with some rock salt as well) and it will dislodge all this gross resin build-up to leave you a clean, good as new bubbler once again.

I'd recommend double-bagging it, just to make sure non leaks out and you don't take a resin-alcohol bath.

for sure double bag it. I've made the mistake of leaving a really dirty pipe in a single bag laying around. now I have a nasty resin stain on my desk. I'm just happy It didn't drip down onto my carpet.

i normally use denatured alcohol since its a lot stronger than iso, and i add about a tablespoon of salt for my bubbler for an abrasive it cleans them out better than anything ive ever used, the second best would be orange kronic or orange krush not sure exactly what its called my friend cleaned my bong with it and it was just as good as my homemade mixture
