I TRIED YOUR WAY RIGHT LIKE I PUT HOT WATER IN A BOTTLE THEN POKED A HOLE BIG ENOUGH FOR ME TO PUT MY BOWL IN THE HOLE HEY IM A POET AND DIDNT EVEN KNOW IT WELL ANYWAY I PUT IT IN THERE ABOVE THE WATER LINE AND JUST LIT THE BOWL AND TOKED ON THE BOTTLE TRICK IS THAT YOU DONT PUT THE BOWL STEM UNDER THE WATER JUST TOKE AS NORMAL SO THE SMOKE JUST GOES INTO YOUR MOUTH WITH THE STEAM AND THE STEAM OPENS UP YOUR LUNGS AND LETS YOU ABSORB MORE ITS AWESOME!!!!

If you fill your bong with Ice cubes, like a lot of them, would it still effectively cool the smoke whilst not making the bubbling noise?

not much ash gets in there.... and it all gets drunk amazingly fast when your blazed and have the drys.... remember its a whole BUCKET full of pepsi....

At a party once, I was talking about how I wanted to put vodka in a bong and smoke with that (using a screen of course...eccch), then drink the vodka (potka)...but someone told me that was bad, that it had the potential to cause a brain hemorrhage. Anyone know if that's true?

The only time I've ever used anything in my bong (actually bubbler) was when we were in my friend's room and ran out of water and were to lazy to go all the way to the kitchen and get more, so we used fruit punch Gatorade. Tasted a little strange but at least I got my electrolytes.
But yeah, nothing better than using clean, ice cold water and ice cubes, unless you have an ice catcher, then try using crushed ice.

I do. Heres a lil equation that shows what happens:

liquor+flame (from cherry)= BOOOM!!!+loss of eyebrows

liquor+THC= less THC in your lungs, more in ewwww bong water

My friend tried this and he lost his eyebrows hehe, and pluse THC is alcohol soliuble, so you will have less in the smoke and more in the most foul substance known to man, bong water. Just stick with clean cool water, with a few ice cubes if you want. Bong on!

alcohol sounds cool, but... a friend and I were sitting around and had a bottle of Rumpelmintz... lost all his facial hair and caused a he** of a mess! it was funnier than ****, though. sounded like a good idea at the time. the best i've found is snow and water or shaved ice and water. juice just messes up the bong. too much energy for nothing. been using the Queen Mary for 23 years and she's seen a lot.

In traditional shisha smokings out of a hooka some people used milk because it supposedly makes the smoke thicker test this out for me I would but my stem to my bong is broke (PUT YOUR BONGS DOWN WHEN U GET STONED PLEASE PEOPLE ESPECIALLY IF THEIR GLASS)
