|  water bongs.. one thing i dont get about water bongs.. how come when you ligh up the bowl the smoke goes down into the bong water and not up into the air..help me out plz.. |

|  hmmm... i think its because (if i understand correctly) you are pulling the air into your lungs and causing air to flow in through the bowl where the weed is. I dont think this will help cus im really baked and i dont think i understood your question. Just Disregard this.

| Because you inhale. Its just like a normal pipe except there is water. Are you trying to hit a bong with out inhaling? It dosen't bubble unless you inhale.

| yeah, inhaling normally helps, you can try to smoke a bong without inhaling but its pretty hard | |

| Hey I know a guy who did that but didn't inhale...they elected him President of the USA...guess he just didn't consider it smoking Under the same theory his girlfriend uh...welll...was intimate but didn't uh...welll...uh...swallow...guess he just didn't consider it f***king ...whatever  manybe it's casue I get stoned but that just makes no sense to me.~ have a cookie while I try to figure this all out  | |

| you're sucking the smoke FROM the bowl INTO the chamber. in order to get to the chamber, it has to go through the water. maybe if you weren't sucking, the smoke would go into the air, but then how would you get high?
