Generic Name

I've researched them a bit but nothing from first hand users. i want to get a bong, but im not quite sure how they work or how big i'd want one. heres sone background info:

i smoke like twice a week. sometimes i'll have a few friends and we'll do ALOT of ganj but i only have two chillums and rolling papers. so i definatly need a bong for those party type situations. how big do i want one? how do they work? any info would be great. thanks!

ok first of all bongs are amazing! by far one of the best ways to smoke. ok bongs 101: when looking for a bong it's important to look for what is going to first your needs. Size: the bigger the more money the bong it going to cost for the most part. also if your someone that doesn't have their own place you might want to get a smaller one so it's easier to hide away. Size doesn't really matter to tell you the truth. i mean bigger bongs are fun but little def are easier to hand around and put away. Glass: ok when looking at a bong look at the wall thickness. if it's thin glass don't get it. the thicker the better. shit will happen and if it's a really nice thick glass piece you'll be thankful only that the water went every where and tha tyour bong isn't broken. Use: ok bongs are easy to use. 1 put in some water make sure you put in plenty of small so that you can hear it working but not so much that you get water in your mouth. next pack some herbs in the slide in the front where the bowl is. next start smoking that bitch and when your near the end of your hit move the slide up to help clear the bong of all the smoke. it's the same thing as using a carb. thats pretty much it. i would say if your buying online check out the headshop they have here it's nice. also local shops are also good because you can hold and see the gladd yourself. hope this helped and enjoy the wonderful world of bongs.

Why not goto a head shop, take as much money as you can find, and spend it all on the first pipe that strikes youre eye...

The size of your bong is all personal preference buddy....

eh id go to a headshop but i cant go to the only one in town because like the arch enemy of my senior year broke into it and told the people who worked there it was me. (keep in mind at this age i wasnt old enough to even go in) but now i went there and they said they have no proof but they dont want to allow me in. I explained to them what happened but they still said theyd rather not let me in. im respecting that descsion even if its a little dumb.

ok well go online to google type in bongs and you can find tons. but just remember cheap might be good for your first one. also plastic might be also that way NO worry about it breaking and cheapper.

making them from scratch on the spot is a great party activity. Just keep some basic materials on hand, like water bottles, straws, a sensible bowl (this is the hardest part since tin foil is the obvious method, but very unhealthy), and a metal pen for spare parts and you can heat it up with a lighter and use it to melt a hole in the bottle for the bowl/straw neck.
