I'm pretty sure I posted on this before, but it might have been before the crash... I was wondering how you guys make the bowl for this. My first time i used tin foil (mistake), then when I learned the folly of my ways I made one with a metal bowl head from a screw together bowl and i cut a hole in a plastic bottle cap and jammed the bowl in it ans sealed it with silicon. It worked nice, until i took it to a party. There the bowl got so hot it liquified the plastic sinking it into the cap and releaseing gasses... another bad thing... so what do u all suggest to make the bowl/cap from???

A friend of mine used to have a bowl which he had attached to the cap, I think more or less like what you did, and he used it a lot. I never really did get a real good look at it, but the bowl was raised by a tube that I think was part of the bowl about a centimeter or so above the cap. I hope that made sense. I'm not exactly sure how he did it.

Heres my favorite way of making a gravity bong bowl. Take a 2-litre bottle cap (they seem to fit many kinds of bottles), and get a BNC cable connector. Thats the hard part, but if you go to an electronic supply store they will have them, maybe even like radioshack. The BNC connector is your bowl, cut or drill a hole large enough to insert the small end of the connector. Put the 2 pices together and use modeling clay to make airtight. There are different size BNC connectors, so take yur pick, a big one is best (duh).

Thats basically the same thing i did, except the metal part got too hot and melted the plastic. As for modeling clay... Some of that can be toxic so watch out. My friend made some pipes out of it only to find he couldnt use em because he read the label on the clay which said can create toxic fumes. So be careful.

I don't think you'll have to worry about the fumes as long as the bowl itself isn't made out of the toxic material. And I'm sure there are non-toxic clays out there you can use.

Well the thing is the plastic started to melt and fume... even tho the fire never hit it, the bowl was hot enough to burn the cap... scary stuff... definiatly need a new cap before i use a Grav again...

Seal it with good ol' elmers glue.. squirt alot and wait a day or so for it to dry... it's been made non-toxic so people stop huffing it.

I also have a different form of gravity bong.. I love it

Take a 2 or 3 liter bottle, cut off the bottom part where it starts to curve.

Take a 1 gallon ziploc freezer bag and cut off the "ziploc part".

Put the ziploc around the bottom of your soda bottle, seal the edges with whatever you like (I used eletrical tape, worked well).

Now, push the bag all the way inside the soda bottle, screw a hole for a bowl in the lid, put in your bowl, add weed...

Now hold a lighter over the weed for about 5 seconds, then slowly pull the ziploc bag out of the soda bottle. Fill it up, screw off the cap, put your lips over it and push the ziploc back in as hard and fast as you can.... It's made me KO a few times so be in a padded surrounding

heres how i make a gravity bong, take a one letre bottle make 2 holes the size of a pencil in the bottom, then just use the bucket cone on the top, it wont melt if use a big enough cone. fill the bottle up with water by puttin it in a bucket, then lift it out of the water when u lite it

Ive used this bong once and it worked very very well. You set up the coke bottles the same besides make the wholes at the bottom really small(small enough that the water drains pretty slow when you pick it up out of the water) and you have a bucket of water and all. Okay you do it all normaly except you take the entire bottle out of the water and let all the water drain out and the bottles should feel up with smoke. Then take the cap off and have fun.

my grav bong:
2 2liter coke bottles taped together with electric tape(cut them at the bottom and tape the bottoms together) then for the bowl get a cap and find one of those socket wrench things and get the thing that turns the bolt, get a screen from a sink and put it in there, its kinda tall so i usually hit it out of a pool or a big fish tank but your gettin 2 liters of smoke out of it, another good bowl for this or anything is a certain garden hose quick connector, i dont know what it is called but it is a perfect bowl for anything, oh yeah one more thing, you might wanna put extra holes in the bottom if you want it to drain better but the one already there works fine for me
