| I have a nice bubbler which i use occasionally. Whenever I use it, I always shake out all the water in it or sometimes I'll run a bit of clean water through it. My problem is that whenever I try to get all the excess water out, I can't. I've tried some different methods as to getting all the water out like paper towels, hair dryer etc...but they don't seem to work. I'll have my bubbler put away for a week or two and the same droplets will be there from when i first put it in storage. I was just wondering b/c I'm concerned about mold growing inside of my bubbler, b/c I can't get all of the water out. Is it ok for some water to still be in there while it is stored in a bag in the back of a closet? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks. -Little C

| warning: i have not tried what i am about to suggest! proceed with cation! how about trying to put it in an oven on low heat...like warm or whatever and leave it in there for half an hour or less even. may depend on the type of glass you have, not sure. if you cant do that, try a microwave if those dont work, try getting some finely ground up bud and getting some stuck in the same place the water is. that way it will absorb the water. good luck ![]()

| er... oops lol sorry, reread ur post and i gave u some ****ty advice can u let us know where these 'droplets' accumulate? btw - im pretty sure water in glass wont mold or anything, especially if theyre tiny droplets, but it wouldnt hurt to open the bag like once every 2-3 days for a half hour to let some of the humidity buildup let out if ur THAT worried about it ![]() |

| Doritosman: I wouldn't say that I'm paranoid, it's just that I have real bad allergies...and one of them happens to be an allergy of mold so i try to avoid it at all costs. It would be nice to leave it out on the porch, but I still live at home so that wouldn't exactly go over to well with my parents. Hammer: Its not really that the droplets just appear, when I shake all the water out of my bubbler some water just doesn't come out so it just kinda stays inside the bubbler...I'm not talking massive accumulation of water droplets, but there's enough where I thought I'd ask how to get rid of them. Thanks for the airing out idea. I think I just might find away to make it stand upside down without falling that way all the water could just slowly drip on out...that might work. |
