well i have noticed that bongs give a mch more cerebreal high which i don't really enjoy cause u kinda get that feeling like your going in and out of reality, maybe on the inside i'm like a heroin addict but i like the narcotic highs that indica weed gives you and if you pack indica weed into a bong you can usually get a nice median between narcotic and overly cerebreal which is very nice

Yeah totally dude, I sooo love that. You can have different types of highs from weed, and different types of highs from utensils! For me it's like this.

Joint: Hits me HARD, but without me feeling the transition much. I always feel disoriented but I LOVE the high it gives me, I feel peaceful yet energetic. I feel cool, if you know what I mean.

Blunt: Almost makes me feel drunk, nicotine in blunts affects me pretty hard so it's like a game of keeping balance. I also feel chill.

Pipes: I get really crazy ideas and sometimes I get tired or lazy, but I'm in my own little world and it feels really good when someone agrees with me on something becasue I feel close to them.

Bongs: My different feelings and emotions take over my mind and I let life roll, ecstatic to feel so alive.

Bubblers: Like a mix between a bong and a joint.


And... I've never tried vaping or gravity bongs.

Joints just don't do it for me, and blunts....they taste good? The only thing I've found that works for me is a bong. Even the pipe seems to take forever. Maybe it's just a mindset?

haha this thread reminds me of the recent rescue me episode where they had to go into the pot garden fire and they all got stoned off it. garrity is like, you know what word is funny? Bong. that just makes me laugh. Booong. bong bong bong.

I agree with the whole idea of bongs making you higher. If I didn't love sitting out on my porch, kicking my feet up, and smokin' a joint so much, I'd only smoke out of a bong. The high is faster, clearer, and it's the only method that has actually led to me being nearly unable to move my lower body. Now THAT was a high!

Is it wrong to love weed this much? I'm so glad I found this forum. Finally, people who are as infatuated with weed as I am.......

Diggin up a month-old thread 'cause it got me thinkin....

I swear I read a scientific paper that said something to the effect that bongs filter out more of the sedative-type cannabinoids. I forget where I read that. But it jives with my experience.

Similar to what some other people have said:

1. Spliffs and blunts don't do much for me. I have to smoke a lot to get a trippy high. Which is the sort of high I like. I mean, don't get me wrong I love to kick back and relax and smoke a slow-burning spliff. But it's not my favorite buzz.

2. Dugout bats, pipes, and bubblers hit me harder than joints, but I'm also much more likely to feel veeery tired and super-mellow. Which is cool, but again: Not my fave.

3. I have a fancy Vapir One vaporizer that works pretty well, as far as those things go. Unfortunately, it takes quite a while for me to inhale enough vapor to get a decent high. It's an extremely clean, bright high, but it's not very intense. The contraption is great for conserving product, but it takes too much time to extract the good stuff.

4. Bong hits. Usually a crystal-clear high, comes on fast, hits hard, no tiredness or other depressant qualities, but very relaxing nonetheless. Of course some strains of weed (and, er, additives) have properties that make the high more kinetic or more mellow. But in general, some decent basic sinse in a bong generates a clean, clear high for me. With bong hits, for me, if the shit is good, the difference between a pleasant buzz and a nearly incapacitating brain melt can be a matter of a mere one or two pulls.

So yeah, laughing more after bong hits versus other methods makes perfect sense to me. :-)

Agreed, bong hits will make anyone high b/c when you hit it its a cylce:

WEED-->BURNT WEED-->SMOKE GOES DOWN-->A RUMBLN SOUND-->NOW U GONNA HIT THE GROUND-->ANOTHER BOWL CASHED-->LOAD ANOTHER UP AND MAKE IT FAST!....

that is the reason bong its are better...

Man, I love hitting bongs. It seems like the quintessentially weed related action.

Blunts and joints and pipes can all be used for other herbs and tobacco, but a bong only lives in the realm of weed.

And plus, you get high really fast. And this may be me, but the deeper bowls seem to last longer because there is less lighter contact with the weed.
