Water molecules are water molecules, no matter what shape they're in. Considering they're a hydrogen atom and two oxygen atoms, there's not even many shapes they could form.

Back on topic, empty your bong after each sesh. Reduces the chance of spillage when it's not being used, and it's just better to use clean water.

with a decent sized bong its nice to use very cold water with ice and change it every 2-3 bowls. with a bubbler changing it every bowl pack is advisable because there is a lot less water.

exactly how cold should it be?

I think as cold as u want it but not too too cold, umm well for me iv put ice cold water in there before and some ice cubes too.

oh and one more thing im not sure how cold because im not sure of having cold water and then some hot smoke if it will crack the glass or not
