how much is the roor? I would go with whatever is less expensive.

The ROOR is cheapest. Although it only costs 56 in pounds, that translates to around 110 in USD, so, in fact, I would be getting a $100-$150 piece.
I'm also getting anothe bowl for it, making that an accessory. I have considered the icemasters and dealer's cups, but they cost in excess of $200 which is more than I want to spend now. Although it's pretty small, I think that 14.5 inches is sufficient and pretty easy to hide.

Dude, since you have to hide it, I'd get a cheaper piece man. No matter how careful you are, there'll always be that one time you forget to hide it when you're high. I've had at least 3 pieces taken by the parents, and one that should have been. I was with my dad, and it fell out of my pocket, hit the floor with a big TING (it was glass). Thankfully it didnt break. I put it back into my pocket and that was that. My dad knew that in order to get that pipe out of my pocket he'd need to use physical force though. Anyways, my point is accidents happen, my advice would be to get a pipe that you can survive losing. Just a thought though.

I have a ROOr similar to the one you show. It is 14 inches classified as an icemaster (has a nice ass icecatcher;the picture of the roor u have doesnt). Who says bongs are mobile? The roor i have is hte **** its the mobility roor haha. ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOR all the way baby. if it doesnt have an ice chamber, you can fill it up with crushed ice after you put water in it. ive tried it, it works great. either one of those pieces is great, id get the bubbler if you have to hide it. altho the bong looks nice.

I've bought a RooR bong which I discussed in another thread, a bubbler, undiscussed, and a bat since that post. While I greatly appreciate your input, you're not going to change my decision.

RooR's are good pieces...I am currently looking into a high quality bong and the choices I've got so far are:

1. RooR 5.0 ($200)

2. PHx Trinity ($300)

3. Hurricane 1000 ($450)

You have to be carefull with the RooR's out there. There are two diffrent kinds, German-made ones and USA made ones. The USA one's used to have a bad rep, but latley it seems more and more people are having sucess with them.

PHx are hard to find online, I might have to buy direct from the manufactuer...

The Hurricane bong by the Republic of Bongland is the most expensive of the bunch but also promises to be the sickest. A bong of this price will have to have it's own hard shell carrying case for transport.

Don't forget the ashcatcher!

I absolutely love my RooR 5.0. While the Hurricane is ridiculously nasty, it's extremely expensive: 2.25 times more expensive. Unless your parental situation has recently upgraded, I wouldn't recommend shelling out 450 dollars for a bong which could be confiscated. Maybe until you get your own place or something. If you get the RooR, get the diffuser or whatever it's called. The only problem with my RooR is that it doesn't bubble very rapidly. It's like I take a breath in and it only bubbles a few times to fill it up which doesn't allow for very precise hits. If you get the diffuser, you'll be all set.
