I'm now in the market for a new piece. I'm going to spend a lot of money, and hope that is lasts me a while. The first piece I will display to you is a bubbler to be purchased from grasscity.com. It costs $185, looks pretty sweet, is a sherlock, is color changing and inside out, and contains much overall goodness. Look at the attached image.

My other option is a sort of a package. My other possible piece is a bong, but, because it is cheaper, I would also get a couple glass gauzes and a new lighter. Here are the stats copied from the site: Parts: 3 Height: 37cm Diameter: 53mm Wall Thickness: 3mm Weight: 600g. It's a Roor Bong 500. It costs 54 UK Pounds, but, together with the other items, this "package" costs $152. Look at the attached image.

Any recommendations as to which I should get. Or, if you know of another cheap online headshop that sells it for cheaper, tell me.

though i've heard good stuff about roor, id go for a color changing peice that is trippy and you like. color changers only get better with time. good luck

Its a Roor, best bong around. Thats your gonna be your best buy.
Although bubblers are fuggin amazing. More portable than bongs, keep that in mind too when biuying. Peace

So a bong is the way to go then? I figure I'll get higher with the bong and it's more durable; more likely to last longer. The bubbler looks cool and is more portable, but it's more fragile.

I'd go with the bong. Not Roor tho, everyone says there good, but I can't stand them. They just have no personality to me, go figure...

Don't pay $185 for that bubbler, it looks almost identical to one my friend got at a shop for $130. It was an awesome piece, and would probably blow that mini-ROOR out of the water. If it really comes down to paying $185 vs $150, get the bubbler.

Many ROOR bongs are designed to hit almost perfectly and they really do deliver smooth hits that can make you choke your ass off at the same time. Don't buy the $50+ 3mm thick ROOR, go for a $100-$150 (if that's your range) and get some accesories for it.


My favorite ROOR bongs are the Dealer's Cup and Icemaster (of course, with percolator and diffusor stem).

I'd go with the bubbler because:
1) It's more portable.
2) It looks cooler.
I don't know about you, but I like my pieces to have some PERSONALITY to them. As nice as roors hit, they seem so generic. It's nice to be able to smoke out of a work of art. I also love the way bubblers hit, they're the best for solo sessions in my opinion. So my 2 cents are, get the bubbler!

That bubbler looks like it's aking to be broken... and it's too expenisive. Id go with the bong man.
