what about an ice bong without water? one that has an ice catch in the neck. that way you would get the best of both worlds.

I never really used a bong without water except one time (stupidity), but from time to time while my parents were still awake I'd use bongs with only ice in them as to minimize sound. It was weird because the smoke was just every bit as harsh, just a lot cooler... Making it bearable to breathe in but you couldn't get giant rips like a bong with water and ice. It's better that than no water though, any day.

i can see why having a big chamber would be a plus without water. But i still cant get away from bongs with cold water and ice. It is so easy toget way high. you dont feel it goin in at all. Or at least i dont

I don't really like dry bongs, my friend has one though, that is made to be dry. Last weekend my friend pulls out this white lunchbox-looking thing. It says first aid on it and he opens it up. It had an oxygen tank lookin thing on it, which is a dry bong with a pull carb. It's hooked up to an oxygen mask sorta thing that you cover your mouth/nose with. It has to have been the coolest piece I have ever used.

A dry bong completely defeats the purpose if you ask me. i can understand doing it in a pinch, if nothing else was available, and there were no suitable liquids around. Other than that, i won't do it. I've done it once orr twice at friend's houses, but that was just because I was stupid and assumed there would be water in it, when there was not. It wasn't a good experience, and I don't plan on repeating it.
