Ive seen many threads talking about broken pipes etc. I suffer from a bong that leaks air. It burns more weed and you recieve smaller hits.. not good! Oh yea the bong is made of glass. Are there any sealants out there made for this or have stood the test of time and are a quality product or do you know of a "ghetto" way to fix this?

Well, which part of it does it leak air from? Pretty much any caulking will do the trick, but what sealent you use depends on if it is going to be near the flame or not.

ahh it leaks at the rubber stopper that holds the stem. I though of using caulk but it would look pretty ghetto. I know i asked for any solutions ghetto and all but i would like to save the appearance of my bong first.

haha i understand. Well, i would think caulking is about as non-ghetto as it will get, maybe you could look around for a new rubber stopper? or you could just shop around, see if they make black (i assume thats teh color of your stopper) caulking, or you could paint it black after you apply it. If you're looking for a temporary solution, tape it air-tight with electrical tape.

a new slider? Its a pull bowl. is a slider the same thing as a stem? There is a rubber type O ring/stopper which is put in the hole of the glass bong then you place a stem in the stopper and then place the bowl into the stem. The air leaks around the hole in the bong that you put the O-ring/stopper in. holla chan

slider, pull bowl same thing. chill dude i know how a bong works/looks like. some teflon tape for now, but later on id suggest getting a new stopper.

Just clearing up the interworkings of the bong for more clairity...... has anybody had a bong that leaked air??? if so did you just buy a new bong or did you fix it somehow...holla

Find a glass blower in your area to fix it. Leaks only get worse over time, and you'll eventually need a new one, so fix it now while it's just a small leak.
