I think there is no contest in this thread. I think glass would go for everybody. I could be wrong though but I know I like to smoke out of glass and that is the only thing I smoke out of. I have 2 glass pipes one for hydro and the other schwag. Same for the 2 glass bongs I have to. Got to love glass bubblers.

Bubblers are a dream! I just got my first one not that long ago, and I love it. But my first bong ever was plastic, w/ a metal bowl. But glass is very nice. The only problem is my dog keeps knocking them over w/ his tail. Gotta love the glass.

I was just thinking ceramic when soupman mentioned it. My brother brought me back a ceramic bong with a cobra curled round the bowl from Almere (holland), and it hits like a dream. Not harsh, not a lung-full of sweet air, it's perfect. Flows in and flows out like somebody left a message saying "I'm blazed" without me even noticing it. Fantastic.

plastics are fine as long as you get a glass bowl with em, and plenty of ice water
