I'm debating wether to pick this up at grasscity or a local shop. I'm just wondering if theres a large difference in the price for bongs on grass city compared to local shops because I don't go to shops much, pretty far away.

this one runs for 30 something on grass city, it's wooden or bamboo something.

I REALLY like bamboo. And not just for pipes.

I currently have a bamboo garden growing in my yard. When it reaches a nice size, I plan on rigging up a bong.

Glass is USUALLY cheaper online, but if you go to a shop, you're supporting local buisness, and the piece will probably be nicer.

Bamboo would probably be cheaper in a shop, but who knows....

Anyone have any actual experience using a bamboo piece? How clean does it taste? I like the idea of using natural products like wood and bamboo...but I wonder about their health risks and potential flavor-taining of the good ole' herb!

These are clumpers, nor runners, so they wont take over as fast, but give em a few years....

Ive smoked from bamboo a couple of times on occasion. if its made right, it tastes just as clean as smoking it through glass, except we had to use aluminum foil for the bowl so that mdae the hits a little harsh. i dont know anything about the health risks(if there are any), but it doesnt taste any different than straight up MJ

i should probably add that these were handmade bamboo peices, they werent bought off the internet or at a shop or anything.

My brother-in-law has a bamboo pipe that he uses regularly. Bought it out of a shop in KCK/MO. I've hit it a couple of times, and Id much rather use it than a wood pipe...although glass is ALWAYS gonna be favorite.
