Hey everyone, im in need of some rather specific information regarding the metal bowls that are commonly found on small metal pipes and/or bongs. I need to know the thread size.

Metric? Standard? Thread size?

Or, if nobody can answer me that, i would equaly appreciate it if somebody would go grab their piece, and measure how wide the threads are. just us a regular ruler and give me a rough measurment.

This is of course, assuming there is some kind of industry standard?

I was looking on the site linked below, and it looked to me as though there is an industry standard....

Alright, so in case there is any confusion (cuz i know my post above might sound a bit confusing)I drew a picture!!!

well...im sure there are different sizes, but jus cuz im so nice i dug out my old metal pipe and gave it a measure. Mine measured out to b 9/10 cm.

by the way...do u really think this belongs in the "Water Pipes" forum?

Yea, i wasnt sure where it should go, but since its for building a bong, i posted it in here.

I figured it would be about that large seeing as how the most common glass bong slide diameter is 9mm. Perfect for what im doing.

Yikes! I've never thought about that before...The shops I go to always sell tons of wierd connectors, bowlpieces, tubes, and splitters that are all the same thread size..I kinda would also like to know if anyone happends to know if it's metric or what?
