Argh...ive probably looking into this into for what seems like...ever.Ive talked to alot of the users here and been gathering info and such like crazy.But when it comes down to it i just cant decide what piece i want to get for my b-day. And im hopeing with your help i can work this out. Its so hard because i could just save up and get a 700$ piece or something top-of-the-line but thatd take awhile. And I want this piece on my birthday, or atleast order it on my b-day so it means something to me. Not only will this be a smoeking device, it will be my first piece ever.... and i want it to be nice...really nice. I LOVE the way RooR`s look , along with ph(x)`s and such, but i just cant make up my mind wich one i want. The hard part is depending on my next check my price range will be from 250$ to 350$ to 500$ and maybe even abit more... so im haveing to pick the best of all the ranges. then when i think about spending 500$ on a bong im like shit, i could be getting a vape. Any suggestions/thoughts guys?

And yes i understand that alots of money.... i know this and gladly pay the prices for a top notch piece.

Well, if I were you and had 300-500$ to spend on a glass piece I'd go with a GonG piece.

Sure, you might be able to contract a SICK bubbler from an artist for that price--but the clean lines and classy "style" of the RooR and pHx's can't be beat. Also, don't forget how awesome the GonG hits in comparison to a regular grommet/slide bong!

I'd sugest weedcity.com or everybodydoesit.com as far as RooR goes...pHx supposedly can be contacted directy via a website (they might not still even have...???)

Additionally, you might check into the brands Pure, HVY and BlueDot...as all of these brands produced similar looking pieces of similar quality for almost half the price of the German RooRs...

If you can get down to SoCal, they're are US made RooR's for sale that'll be cheaper than the ones from Germany over the net via the UK retailers...

Some people might argue that the German RooR's are better than the American ones, but I have yet to see a bent-neck German RooR...those are SICK!

awesome. since you're looking to spend so much money, make sure you get everything EXACTLY as you want it. i'm sure you wont be skimping on any features at all. i recommend glass on glass too, and a diffuser downstem, they make the hits so smooth, with a lot less splashing and bubbling noise. i'd go for theh 18mm joint size, just bc its probably a bit stronger than the 14.4mm.

Other than that, i'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you get! $500 can go a long way and get you a freakin nice piece my friend!

If you're going to spend that much money, and you're set on a bong look into Toro. They make awesome tubes with crazy worked sections and more gadgets than you could imagine. You'll get much more tube, function, and artwork for your money with a toro than you would with a roor or phx.

Sweet... I hope you get something that you will LOVE! Im not the best when it comes to suggesting things. so i wont. I agree, the looks of a RooR just make me almost want to jump up and down and start yelling...

yes most of the headshops i go to have a nice selection of american roors and accessories.
lets see.....

3. possibly ice notches? you like ice?
uh.... thats about it i think, any other features youre looking for?
personally i think you should just go buy a 30-35 dollar glass pipe(you can get nice ones for that) and go smoked some weed a few times, see if its yo thang, and then go all out on a nice bong.

Yeah im mroe then liekly getting a simple spoon, soemthing that catches my eye. And a clearglass bong, hopefully ill get them both for a good long while to come . But RooR`s will be in my near future for sure .
