I was wondering if you only could use coals to burn the tobacco or what ever you put in your bowl

... i was wondering if i could just use a lighter to burn it and if it would still work all the same,..... it sounds like it would but im asking for some profesional help.

Yes it still works.

But hookahs were originally designed specifically for tobacco smoking using a coal. Using a coal can make the tobacco in the bowl last for an insane, literally insane, amount of time.

But a lighter still works.

oh my god I must be really high or something, I saw the title to this, assumed hookah was an alternate Negaduck style spelling to hooker, and I was like...why would a hooker need a coal? Then I was like...hookah....oh, yeah, I am on marijuana.com.

Yeah but last time I stuck tobaccy in a hooker's bowl and used a lighter it was overly expensive, and entirely not worth it.
