420 cleaner is a godsend! Look for it in your local headshop/online shop, works like a charm. Save for actually buying something, alcohol is a nono for cleaning acrylic bongs. Your best bet would in fact be some nice warm water and some soap, swish it around and shake it up, let it sit for a while, repeat, and rinse throughly. Enjoy

To clean an acrylic bong:

1. Take off the bowl and put it in a drinking glass. Fill the glass with isopropyl until it covers the bowl.

2. Use small and medium size aquarium brushes, warm water, and dishwashing liquid to clean the inside of the plastic chamber and the stem. You can get aquarium brushes at any pet store, Wal Mart, etc. They're things used to clean out tubes. They cost next to nothing and last forever. The diswashing liquid will break up the tar and leave virtually no residual scent. DON'T PUT ISPROPYL IN THE CHAMBER OR THE STEM! It'll dissolve the seal between the stem and the chamber.

3. After the chamber's all cleaned up (and rinsed off thoroughly with cold water), take the bowl out of the alcohol and scrub with the small aquarium brush and maybe a pipe cleaner or two. The alcohol will have dissolved much of the resin, and the rest will come off pretty easily.

4. Rinse off the bowl, put everything back together, and voila!

Everybody poo-poos acrylic, but I'll take a 12-inch TM over a pyrex bong any day. I mean, I like glass a lot. I've got a color-changing bubbler that I love, and a color changing spoon that's pretty sweet. But the TM is more...utilitarian. Inexpensive, virtually indestructable, and perfectly functional, the Tobacco Master (nee Toke Master) is just a great all around smoking appliance. It gets the job done every time.

And no I don't sell em or anything. lol
