| OK, how about this: A lot of smokers (myself included) find warm steamy water in a bong very soothing on the old alveoli. But the water cools off fairly quickly, meaning you have to re-fill the chamber, and that's not very conducive to a relaxing session, ya know? What if someone made a bong that had a ceramic heating element in the bottom of the chamber and a basic temperature regulation system? Like, what if the bong could keep the water temperature at a constant 180 degrees or so? I'd buy that jank. |

| you could make a bong from a thermos? That way it stays warmer longer. Sounds logical to me ![]()

No, but seriously, I think that sort of a bong would be sweet. I could probably make it myself with an old TM, a hotplate (for parts), and a soldering iron. But I'd probably electrocute myself or burn down my house. Or both. ![]() | |

| Hot bong water? Hmmmmm. I've always thought cold water was best. Keeping the smoke nice and cool. I may have to try hot and see whats up with that. BTW You could get one of those coffee cup warmers like people have on there desks to keep there coffee warm. It's looks like a miniature hot plate. Just set your bong or bubbler on it between hits. Edit: Now that I look again I think thats what peace n love is prolly talking about.

| Yeah, that's a good idea too; one of those little mug warmers. I'm gonna go fire up the coffee pot right now! It's 5:00 somewhere, right? :-) |

| Yeah, I definitely recommend it. Somebody told me about it, and I was skeptical too. But then one day I realized that I cough less when I smoke out of a bubbler than I do when I smoke out of a bigger bong, and there didn't seem to be any correlation with the thickness of the smoke. So I tried some steamy water, and as it turns out it's quite nice on the pipes. |

| I'll definitley give it a shot but not until I get over this damn cold I have. I think it's almost gone but it really kicked my ass for the last 2 weeks. I still have a bit of a sore throat hopefully this weekend I'll be ready to get the pipe back out. I'm just getting through thinking how nice it will be once I start again now that my tolerance should be down a little. |
