Ok, so im a bit of a newb with bongs, pieces and other things like that. (I have a hookah but I don't ever use it for bud, just the occasional flavoured arabic smoke.) Anyways, even though I have a hookah I really want to buy a proper glass bong.

What is the best way to clean it. Run water through it? Should the water be emptied out of the base after every sesh?

So yeah....

How do you clean it?

Another thing, since I have a hookah as mentioned above, is it still a worthy tool for smoking bud out of? If it is a pipe purchase may not even be necessary.
