Just curious, have any of you guys ever tried putting ice in a bubbler? I know the bubbler is small and everything, but it sounds kind of tite if you could chill the smoke in such a small piece.

how in the heck would you get ice in a bubbler?? all of the holes in a bubbler are to small to put ice in.

Puting ice in a bubbler wouldnt be worth it. Since the chamber is so tiny, and such a small amount of ice would be used, it would melt within minutes of use. It would hardly last more than one bowl.

An easier and just as good solution is to stick the bubbler in the freezer. That way the water gets really cold, AND the glass gets really cold (glass retains cold temperatures very well)

But if you do that, you have to be really freaking carefull. If you let the water in the bubbler freeze, it could crack your piece. 10 minutes in the freezer is the perfect time for my bubbler. The water and glass is pretty much ice cold and it will stay cold for about 2 bowls if you dont mess around too much and let it sit for too long.

most waterpipes wouldnt have room for you to fit ice in. When i smoke Chip, my friends sherlock style bubbler, we just use ice water. I assumed this was the universal method for chilling the smoke, i guess i was wrong. We change the water and use ice water every time.

I just stuff ice cubes into the neck of my bong sometimes...it seems to make the hits pretty insanely smooth.

Yea, putting ice into a bong is a great idea, works extremely well to, wouldn't imagine a bubbler though.
