it seems like the reason roors are so expensive is just name recognition. are they really that much nicer than any other bong? it seems like as long as its airtight when it pulls it would give just as good a hit. what makes roor so special?

Of course like anything else you pay for the name, but I do think from what I've seen and heard that RooRs are a higher quality than A LOT of others. I'm sure there are less expensive bongs out there that are the same quality but just don't have the reputation.


There are tons of low quality bongs out there. So, Yes, They are that much nicer than A LOT of other bongs.

I'm sure one of our resident RooR enthusiasts will chime in here with some specs to show how a RooR measures up against the competition.

I don't think so. Sure they are professionally made, but if you know a good bong from a bad bong you should be able to pick one out cheaper, with more 'style' than one of those name brand bongs.

It's just a company trying to make mad profit off stupid stoners IMO, they claim they are 'scientific' but whatever, a real glass blower knows what he needs to do to make a sick bong.

Mine was only 130 dollars, has an ice catcher, and is ornamentally designed better than any bong i've seen; tada



I love my bong. Hard to tell from the picture but it is exactly 19'' tall, it is very kind to me

of course any bong with a rubber o-ring type downstem is always gonna be a lot cheaper than a roor. . and you can also purchase a roor that is just as decorated if not has more work on it than that pipe.

Word on the street is the roor logo, embedded on the side of every roor bong, makes the smoke more potent.

ah bullsnort! but the color of the logo tells you how thick the glass is. which is one of the 'perks'. You could buy one bong for 200, or you could buy one exactly the same (but thicker glass) for 300!
One of the coolest things about them are the diffuser slides. Where your normal bong slide has the air go out the one hole and through the water. Roors sliders have lots of little holes along their length; the result is more bubbles (more surface area of bubbles=cooler hits) and extremely smooth toking (there's hardly any resistance when you inhale, no 'blub blub blub blub").

That's what I have to say about my buddy's roor.

roors are very nice but a lot of it is the name. if you can find a nice pure or ads bong check it out. i love my ads 9mm. Thicker than any roor.
