Recently I just figured out one of my brother's friends toke up weed. It's REALLY awesome because they're old enough to buy bongs and papers for me. He said he would buy me any type of piece at a headshop at a small price. I was thinking about what kind of piece I should get. He suggested getting a bubbler but I wanted smoother and filtered hits. I asked if Acrylic Bongs were a good choice but he said no because it was plastic. He said if you want a bong, get a glass one. I want a plastic so it doesn't break plus they're nice. Any suggestions?

i have both an acrylic bng and a glass bong, i love both of em. i really dont prefer one over the other. the acrylic bongs are cool cuz you can drop them and they wont break.

Awesome. I've been thinking and it comes down to an acrylic bong. How much would a 6 inch acrylic bong cost? With designs on it, including the bowl, and stem. Oh btw, the stem has to be a slide.

my good friend has a 4 foot 2 chamber bong and we use it a lot, i love it so much. its glass, one time we left it outside and the water froze, lol. didnt break though.

i had a acrylic b4, we used it alot for like, 7 months and then the smoke just started tasting really stale.

in my experience acrylic picks up flavors much easier-- one of my friends had the stupid idea of using beer instead of water (I'm pretty much allergic to alcohol) and the thing never quite let go of that taste [in the smoke]. They also can break quite easily if they are made of thick acrylic; ours was a 4ft bong and thusly it was a thicker than the smaller ones- it fell over a few times and cracked up the side. We still used it though, it was OK until the base broke.

get a nice one with a screw off bowl, take off the bowl and throw it into the ocean, now get the guy to buy you a nice glass slide that fits the hole, duct tape the shotty shut and you have a half decent bong
