So I have come across a dilemma in my smoking life. I began smoking about 8 months ago for the first time, and since about february have started smoking every day. I find it exceedingly enjoyable, and have, after much thinking, made the choice that I want a lifestyle with smoking mary as a good part of it.

I am a bit of a bong fiend. I have 1 fairly crappy plastic/acrylic bong with rubber joints. It has been well well used and is kind of gunky now, and mostly dismantled for the parts. I have a decent little glass bubbler bong named Socrates, which served me excellent throughout my stay in residence at university. However unfortunately a large chunk of Socrates' slider has broken off. I also have very recently creates myself a bong from a Bombay Sapphire 40oz bottle. Its a beautiful bong, using the rubber gromit from my first bong in a hole in the side, about 3 inches from the bottom through which I place one of my many glass or metal bowls.

However for some reason, none of these bongs really does it for me. Not one makes me especially proud, or especially excited to toke up on. The bombaybong draws smoother than any bong I've ever hit, and yet I know I should have taken more time when drilling the hole in the side for the gromit, and should have drilled it higher.

So anyways, here is my issue. Do I take the time, plan it out, and build myself a new bong after buying up all the appropriate materials from a local hardware store, or do I purchase the Bushmaster Cyclone - http://www.everyonedoesit.com/online...ProductID=4040

I am not going to lie, that bong is an amazingly good price and makes me drool just thinking about taking hits from it. But it would likely costs me more money than a homemade bong, and I would perhaps feel less pride for it than if I spent the time and tried to make a bong as professionally as possible.

Anyone have any suggestions on what I should do, or what bong types I could try crafting? I dont know how I could possibly make a glass bong myself, but if anyone else knows how, please lemme know.

buy a pipe in person.. when purchasing online you might overlook an easily to spot imperfection that could make or break your decision imo.

I personaly have a addiction to homemades, i leave my bong at home just for the fun and chalenge of making bongs on the spot.the least i have used is a hairpin, a pen, a lightbulb and a little tape, all found at a school playground.
i made a huge bong out of a chemisty set for home and it never leaves the house cuz its huge, it is the collest thing to watch tho.

i geuss the point im making is anybody can buy a bong, but if you want to have pride in it you have to make it.

I say. go to a local headshop, And find one thats most appealing to you for the lowest price, buying online is definetly a huge risk.

This would be my order of choice.
1. buy a bong at a headshop near you.
2. If there are none near you, make your own.
3. Buy online.

but thats just my opinion..

1.buy at local head shop they usually, have the best choices, unless yours sucks

why not build your own and buy one from your local headshop, building your own has to be pretty cheap.
