hey everyone,

i did a search and didn't see anything that related;

so basically i was a tattoo parlor today with a friend, and there were all these nice peices. there was an awesome little bong, maybe 8 or 9 or 10 inches tall, and it's a beautiful little peice - it's clear and blue. the bowl on it is pretty big too anywho, does anyone have any reviews on a mini bong? he may be getting it for me if it's under $35 cause i don't want to spend too much on one.

Its personal preferance, but I don't like how anything hits thats smaller than about 18 inches. The hits aren't very smooth, and you don't get the enjoyment of clearing the chamber like you do on a bigger bong. Whatever does it for you though, a bong is a bong.

me too, but if it's a plastic bong vs. a glass bowl, i'd use the glass bowl (duh!) but i looove bongs nevertheless. i've never used a non-pastic bong, i'm kind of excited, but hey, i don't even have it yet

I'd say a bong has to be at least a foot tall to be considered a good bong. I've smoked out of mini-bongs and they tend to give you nasty taste of bong water not only in the smoke, but in your mouth. That and you don't get the pleasure of some real milkage...

Under 18 inches, as vern pointed out, is a 'small' bong. Above 18 inches up to 24 inches is the perfect size, and anything above that I would classify as a 'large' bong. Then again, height doesn't always determine the chamber size, a short bong can be a large capacity bong (allowing a large buffer of smoke).

The first bong i bought was a mini bong. Only cost me 30$ and it is 8inches tall. Personally i like the thing and it hits nice but i do agree you wont get as good as a experiance as you would in a 18-24incher

gonna have to disagree with you on that statement, the smoothest hitting bong i have ever hit was only about 7 inches tall at most, little mini bong and it worked great, i got just as fat of hits out of it as i do with my 1 1/2 foot bong so it really depends on how the bong is made, but a lot a mini bongs dont hit well, normally cheap ones so dont go for the cheapest one out their find a mid-ranged price of at least 50

but you were right in saying that its a personal preference, so buy whatever you want as long as it fits your needs

yeh, i dont like bongs over 1 foot, too big for me. my 1 footer works fine its got a ice catcher and looks cool. hit really nice too

I don't like mini bongs because I always get a taste of the water, blegh.

im not a fan of mini bongs cause i dont enjoy inhaling water....thats why i got a nice glass on glass cali bong.
