So far I have a clear pipe about 15in. long with a circular base and I want to make a cool water pipe with a spray painted tube. Anyway the only thing holding me up is I have no idea what to use for a bowl. Would it be better to drill a carb hole or what?
Any suggestions will help.

**** the bowl...just use the bong with a joint, it makes so much bigger hits and you dont have to always relight and pack the bowl again. I really hate smokin a bong with raw nugs and a bowl

you're going to need a carb of some type or you'll surely anger anyone you hand the bong to. i hate stale smoke.

is there anything I can use thats around the house for a bowl that you guys can think of and one carb will be coming up.

There are a few things i know you can use as a bowl:

Trombone/trumped mouthpieces
The top off metal and glass salt shakers
Wrench sockets or whatever they are called.

Just Improvise, have a look round your house.

blazd jay i find that the hits arent big enough when you smoke in a bowl, unless you have dry shwag or sometn...now if you smoke a joint with the bong you can make monster milky hits and you dont have to always relight and stuff

not to pick on you Grapefruity, but how can you hate smoking with raw nugs and a bowl?

Raw nugs with a glass bowl are great, I find the hits are just fine, and it's pure marijuana smoke, no paper or anything to mess with the lovely weed taste. mmmm

Plus, isn't the fact that you don't have to roll joints a REASON to have a bowl in the first place?

Don't get me wrong, a joint is nice every once in a while.

We all have our preferences I guess.

i love puffin with raw nugs, but it just doesnt satisfy my taste for milky hits...Dont get me wrong , i love bongs, but not using em with a bowl.

But anyways i have a question on bongs...could i keep the bong water for really long, evaporate it and smoke what is left? would it get me high, or be jsut tar?
