Has anyone else heard what is going on with Jerome Baker Designs since there shut down by the DEA? I have looked for info but havent been to succesful finding anything. I did see that Chong pled guilty and that he is totally out of the industry now. What is happening to the others who were indicted in the operation? This whole DEA bust on the industry has me wicked pissed! I want to do something about it. I have come up with some waterpipe designs myself and they are very unique never marketed them but it was a dream until the right to own a tube with two holes was made illegal because Ashcroft and his team decided it was time. This is just ridiculous. Are there any Shop owners out there willing to talk about it? How can they prove what a customer is intending to do with something? Maybe they should sell water pipes in a store with just tobacco leaves around stating how many people die of legal smoking plants! Keep the waterpipes coming I dont think that this is something that will be able to be shut down, Hell the Drug War itself is proof that the Government cant stop anything no matter how much money and man hours they dump into it. Is anyone else out there thinking about making waterpipes in a time when it is so frowned upon? If all the manufactures of the waterpipes plead guilty things are really going to be tough to resurrect. This operation has inspired me to take a more active roll and I hope others as well. Its funny that it took them to take waterpipes away for me to care but I guess that was the bong that broke the tokers back! They should take pipes out of hardware stores so that pipe bombs wont be made any more and fertilizer off the market so explosives cant be made anymore and anything else that may be quazi functional or intended for something illegal. Well sorry about the rant Im just kind of stirred up ever since I read about all this. Any others worry about the legaity issues over waterpipes like me?

Who isnt upset about this. The best thing we can do is contact our senators and representives. And wonder if they are as afraid of ashcroft as we should be. ![]()

So I take it no one knows anything more about the recent DEA operation then what was printed months ago? I know there are others who are making waterpipes out there still. How do you feel about the recent shut down of so many producers? I realize the DEA does this about every ten years but when is it going to stop?
