Haha, I was about to say the same. Usually my bong is filled with water. I don't see much sense in putting anything else in it. Mostly I use cold water, perhaps some ice in the water even. Sometimes I like to put really warm water in it as the warm and humid air tends to soothe my lungs and I hear it purifies the smoke more readily (something to do with the lower density of warm water as opposed to cold water) I do love my bong

O yeah that too. What happens when you suck a still burning piece of weed into 80 proof vodka? Does it go out? does it catch on fire, but then die from lack of oxygen? Do you inhale a huge rip of flame? I really dont feel like finding out 1st hand.

THC is soluable in Alcohol. So using alcohol filters out MORE thc = LESS thc into your system.

Also Feorge, the higher the temperature of a substance, the more reactive it gets. Therefore hot water is MORE LIKELY to filter out THC from smoke. And unless you're breathing it back in as steam, it will stay in the water.
Cold water is less reactive and therefore will filter out LESS THC, but probably LESS TAR also.

Hot water will probably filter out more of everything, TAR, THC, and every other substance.

I'm sure if you smoke with hot water you'll find it will probably change color quicker than ice cold water.

I've used gatorate, and water. The gatorade smoke tasted good
