so i was wondering what was the right size for a bong to get?

1) What can you afford?
2) Are you going to need to hide this from friends/family?
3) Do you really want the centerpiece of your room to be a 5 foot bong?
4) Can you use it yourself?

Also, make sure its quality.

Check for no cracks, and thin glass. Nothing worse than a thin glass bong - it's basically set-up for disaster.

My bong is exactly 20 inches, I find anything under 12 inchs inadequate for a proper bong. Check out some local headshops and see what you really like, it is after all your decision.

I've got a few bongs (more than I need), a 12 inch acrylic and 12 inch glass one. Each is great.

I've had an 18 incher and 24 incher before, and myself, I've gotta say the 12 were most satisfying, personally.

As spiral has said, anything under 12 is really just a bubbler.

yup i need to hide it from family. so i guess i should get a 12-18 in bong? i dont know about getting a glass bong cuz i might break it, knowing how clumsy i can be at times

Acrylic costs less, is normally more compact (cylindrical versus bulb and cylinder) and much, much more durable.
