I have been smoking my hooka with a 50/50 mix of hooka tobacco and herb, the end result is a very tasty and smooth hit. It does the job but it does not get me close to as bent as if I rolled up the amount of herb I used and smoked it that way or in a bong ect. Anyways I'm not sure if its just simply because I'm mixing it or if possibly the hooka is making the herb less potent. I read that filtrating vapor through water takes away thc but nothing about in a hooka. I use the tin foil and coal method and it seems to burn the herb like a vapor does, leaving it dry and dark brown so basically I'm worried I'm killing the thc by doing this... looking for insight to see if this is true or not.. thanks

is the bud still smoking when you're not hitting it, if so, it's acting like a joint or blunt and letting all that smoke get away.
i mean i use bongs and they work fine, get higher off of the same amount of weed from a bong as opposed to pipe, joint, ect.

I have never really noticed it. I smoke from a hookah all the time 50/50 mix, and it takes just about the same amount of weed to get the same number of people high. Maybe your hookah is leaking smoke somewhere, you you arent using as good as weed.
