hi,
i just bought a new bong but it has the rubber o-ring on the slider which doesnt really make it completly air-tight. would there be any way i could replace the downpipe of my bong with a glass on glass downpipe of the same size, thus turning it into a glass on glass bong? if anyone could help me out with this it would be great

Yes. Just make sure you know what size the hole for the stem is in your bong and buy a Glass on Glass replacement of equal size.

should i use anything to lubricate and am i taking just the stem out or the entire thing, the rubber connector (the thing that is attached to the bong that keeps the downstem in) and all?

besides getting the Roor GG downstem are there any US shops that sell them or something similar, i want to go glass on glass for my old piece as im getting the ssv and i want the glass on glass water adapter.

yep, as long as its the larger rubber seal around your female than you can easily convert it just put the GonG diffuser in were the female was and replace tha bowl with a new one, get an oversized if you can
