Default mold in bubbler

I took my bubbler out from under my bed after it sat for about a month in its bag I came to find it had some mold growing in it! I first tried letting it soak in clorox cleanup bathroom cleaner for about an hour (I would have used bleach if i had it). It smells like clorox cleanup and the smell wont go away not to mention there is still mold in there. I put it through a isporyl alcohol/salt solution and it helped clean it a little. Also tried boiling and that did nothing. My problem is that there is still some mold and it still smells like clorox cleanup. what do i do to get rid of the smell/mold? Its a 6in Sherlock bubbler if that helps any

hope its not ruined...

We always used muriatic acid to clean mold off of masonry and stone work. You can get it at a hardware store. That might be worth a try. Be careful though. You need to wear rubber gloves and safety goggles. Cleaning your pipe is not worth losing your eyes.

I too have suffered from trying many different ways of cleaning, Nothing seemed to get rid of the clogged gunk that plagued my water pipes until I tried Formula 420.

I highly recommend it, It's the miracle of cleaners in my opinion. This can be found in headshops and online for purchase.

There are quite a few different solutions, I have only had experience with the All Natural blend.

After use I also recommend cleaning your Water Pipe with hot water to clean it from any residue of the solution.

Good Luck

I've found that really hot water and 95%+ isoprpyl (sp?) alcohol works wonders. Throw in a little salt and you be good to.

I also get this copier glass surface cleaner from my work in bottles. Cleans the piece and makes it look cleaner than the day you got it.

I would say, if you can find some, get some pipe cleaners (the fuzzy bristles on a thin piece of wire), dip them in alcohol and salt, and go to town on that bad boy. Q-Tips might work too if you can reach them in there.

Buzzby's muriatic acid suggestion sounds pretty good too, but just make sure you wear the proper protection!

...sexually.
