eh, ive hit 6 inchers and 4 footers.
its almost completely how well the bong was made, not the size. i have a 8 incher in my room, i dont use it really but it does hit reallly smooth and gives a big fucking hit. ive hit little ones that were pieces of shit not worth smoking from too. ive hit a 4 footer that was hard to pull and did not smoke well, and ive hit a 4 footer with 4 chambers that smoked like a dream, smooth huge hits.
its all about how its designed, i dont give a shit how big or small it is as long as it hits how i want it to.

Ive Got a 2 and a half foot ADS and it does the job just fine. But I started with a 6 inch bong. And it did the job to.

I admire all tubes, I think they are beautiful art, most of them. Id think if you went to big your smoke would eventually go stale before you clear the chamber, leaving a bad taste. And be just to much work to bring the hit up. You might get higher from the oxygen deprivation than the weed

I have a little maybe 5 incher or smaller and it hits hard when clearing a big bowl but tends to leave a nasty taste in your throat. I find more medium size offer a smoother smoke.

i like a good 1 1/2-2 footer cause i like to fill it and clear it without the trouble of leaving smoke in the chamber, so i dont like the big ones as much cause you always have to clear the stale smoke and thats no fun, and they also use alot more weed than is necissary, so i go with the smallish one that hits nice

I'm a big guy, so one would think that I need a big bong. I have my 30-something incher triple perc with ice pinches, and while I am extremely happy with it, it just doesn't get me as high as some other pieces I have tried. It may just be the increased tolerance or some kind of placebo effect, but the best piece I have ever hit was an Illadelph with the freezable gel chamber and it only stood about 20 inches tall. Quality > Quantity in this case.

I have a 9 or 10 inch bong and also a 20 inch bong. I'd say they both get me equally as high, just take a nice rip out of one.
