Ok, i have a few glass pipes and I smoke out of them daily but I have never smoked out of a bong and I dont have one.

I'm going to this store that sells tons of pipes/bongs tomorrow and I want to buy a good bong. I dont care how much it costs as long as it works good. I need some advice though for what to look for when I'm looking. What certain qualities should I be looking for in a bong??

first off, i would suggest getting a glass on glass bong, has all glass parts. look for one with a good thickness, also take into account contour and size that appeals most to you. if cost is not an option, find the bong that inside you know is right. a good bong makes a good companion in your pursuit for herbal enlightenment and happiness.

I'm getting my first bong tomorrow and need a question answered. Alot of people say that there weed usually falls down into the water, how do you prevent this from happening?

It doesnt completly cover everything. It leaves holes for smoke to pass through but not weed. Personally i dont use them. If you pack it right and dont suck too hard, you wont be wasting any weed.

peace n love is right. Gotta go with something that just feels right to you. Thats how I've picked all mine. Also Glass on Glass, makes for a very airtight piece. Also Diffusers are nice, they are female stems closed at the end with laser cut slots, they break down the smoke to make it smoother.

And if price isn't a problem, then I agree with sterbo and you should head on over to the roor site. I don't have one but I hear there the best.

While expensive bongs are great, really great, you can get a bong that will get you just as high for half the price. I prefer bongs that have a slide, water filtration, and an ice chamber. If you look you can find one for less than $100. If you want the absolute top of the line go with a Roar or a Phx, but expect to pay $250 or more.

I usually just break off a little nug just a little bigger than the hole in the bowl, then fill the rest with shake and pack it down tight. Just don't suck *too* hard and you'll be fine. Eventually it will all suck through but when it does it'll be all ash anyways.
