everytime I try to light my bong my lighter always dies and I have to re light everytime its so frustrating.......anyway I can stop this from happening?

and also when I do light when do I have to pull the piece out of the bong on the side?

First try and keep your finger back on the button of the lighter away from the flame as much as you can. This will prevent you from burning you finger and letting the button slip, resulting in the flame going out.

Also, it should be your personal preference on how big of a hit to take, or when to take the slide out. Once you feel you have pulled a sufficient amount of smoke into the chamber, you should pull the piece. Waiting to long to pull the piece can cause the smoke to go stale and taste nasty.

first of all, make sure you're not sucking in too hard. your flame will go out if you suck too much air past it while you're trying to fill the chamber. this is easy to do with a bong since you use more lung power than with a pipe.

this, or it's time for a new lighter.
